ITINERARI
The tour starts at the center of the commercial area of the Barri Vell, in a small street off the Plaça del Vi, at the heart of Girona. From the Rambla Llibertat we will follow the Carrer de la Força to learn about one of the better preserved medieval quarters in the world, the Jewish quarter. The Segway allow us an easy ascend to the Cathedral of Girona and, further up, through one on the gates of the roman walls, to the Sant Domènech Square. The promenade of the defensive walls will take us to the highest point , with the best panoramic views of Girona, then we will return to the walled city through the ancient travelers’ access, the gate of Sant Cristòfol. The gardens of the Germans is the middle point of the visit, and allow us a small relaxing stop before starting again towards the monastery of Sant Pere Galligans. There we will talk about some eccentricities of the city like the John Lennon gardens and the Angel gardens and will cross the Onyar river through the bridge at the Curch of Sant Feliu. From the bridge we will enjoy the panoramic view of the colored houses, and on the other side, the biggest urban park in Catalunya, the Devesa. We will go back to the start through the Plaça de la Independència, the Santa Clara Street and finally Plaça Catalunya.
